Jennifer Aniston, born February 11, 1969 in Sherman Oaks, California is an American television and film actress. Her early career was not without turmoil, when she appeared in a TV series “Molley”, a television spin-off series “Ferris Bueller”, as well as guest appearances in “Quantum Leap” and “Burke’s Law”. After her role in a horror movie “Leprechaun”, which was not met favorably by critics and fans alike, Jennifer was contemplating ending her acting career.

Her big break came at the age of 25, when she auditioned for an up-and-coming NBC sitcom “Friends”. After landing a role as Rachel Greene and performing alongside Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow, she gained widespread popularity and even responsible for starting a hairstyle, dubbed “the Rachel”. She received numerous Emmy nominations for her performance, consequently winning an award as an Outstanding Lead Actress in Comedy.

Alongside her career in television, she has also been involved in film industry, scoring on several occasions by appearing in “Bruce Almighty”, “Along Came Polly”, “Friends with Money” and contributing to the success of “The Break Up”, a full feature film that grossed over $40 million in its opening weekend.

When Friends go canceled a staggering 10 years later and securing her position as the highest paid TV actress of all time according to Guinness, Forbes rated her as the tenth wealthiest female entertainer of all time, behind Madonna, Mariah Carey, Celine Dion and Jennifer Lopez, and ahead of Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera among others.

Jennifer is also known to have been married to a Hollywood star Brad Pitt, a marriage that eventually broke down when Brad left her for Angelina Jolie. After the break up, she dated Vince Vaughn, her costar in “The Break Up”, and John Mayer, but both relationships didn’t last.
