Izabel Goulart

Izabel Goulart, born October 23, 1984, in Sao Carlos, Brazil, is a Brazilian model. Due to her prominent height and skinny frame, her childhood was plagued with insecurity, as many of her classmates made fun of her and even called her a giraffe.
Her career started after her hairstylist recommended that she becomes a model when she moved to Sao Paulo and started looking for modeling opportunities. Despite her wardrobe malfunction in one of her first fashion shows, she managed to get over it and continued to be a runway model for such established brand names as Valentino, Chanel, Ralph Lauren, Stella McCartney and many others.
Izabel is best known for being an Angel for Victoria’s Secret catalog. She appeared in multiple shows representing the brand and worked alongside Alessandra Ambrosio, Marisa Miller and Miranda Kerr. She has also represented Armani Exchange.
Off stage, she’s involved in several charities, including her initiative to raise money to provide medication for children suffering from diabetes in Brazil and help to find a cure for the disease.
